EWB Chicago partners Chicago-area engineers with communities abroad to create sustainable, community-driven engineering solutions. Over the years, our chapter has successfully supported projects in more than a dozen communities, leveraging collaboration, innovation, and hands-on expertise to make a tangible difference.

In 2025, we continue to expand our local membership while delivering impactful engineering projects worldwide. From clean water systems to sanitation and infrastructure upgrades, our teams design, implement, and train communities to maintain long-term, sustainable solutions. We are committed to fostering responsible leadership and professional growth for all members.

Our recent successes include projects in Patzajito and Tzaput, Guatemala, where CPC teams worked alongside local communities to improve water access, sanitation, and infrastructure, directly benefiting hundreds of residents. Learn more about these projects in our Recent Success Stories section below.

Looking to get involved? Join us at our general meetings on the fourth Thursday of each month to hear about ongoing projects, meet fellow Chicago professionals, and discover ways to contribute your skills. Meeting information can be found on our [chapter calendar] or by contacting our Projects Lead at executive@ewb-usa-chicago.org.
